The development of Windows 7 SP1 has been in news for quite some time now and a version was leaked some time back in March. Microsoft has today announced the availability of beta version of Windows 7 SP1 in late July 2010. The service pack will include a series of incremental updates, previously delivered through Windows Update, for both Windows Server and Windows 7 users
This was announced at the Microsoft Corp.’s TechEd 2010 North America conference.
Microsoft has already made it clear that the first service pack for the latest Windows would be nothing more than a standard upgrade. Service Pack 1 will bring in some improvements to Windows 7 RTM and of course some bug fixes.
Now lets wait for the beta version to be out next month to actually see the impact of SP1 on Windows 7.
